Not too long ago I stumbled upon Ript Apparel via twitter (see @ript).
I bought the Gorgeous George shirt for my 4th of July party and I really dug it (I mean, how can you go wrong, George Washington is a mutha fuck'n pirate in silver ink... seriously).
Anyway, after a fleeting twitter exchange, the guys over there at Ript checked out my site, and then said if I wanted to do a shirt for them I could. I ended up doing my tetris and work shirt (see it here) which Paul over at Ript is going to play around with to get the final colors.
Nehoo (yes I'm going somewhere with all this), when I submitted the tetris shirt, I mentioned I'd like to have a go at doing a illustration incorporating, or more precisely, using the RIPT logo - which I really dig. They were all for it, so this week end I had a go at it. This is what I came up with.
Chka-chka-boom.
My name is Kris Robinson, this is where I blog about art, computers, illustration, design, work, life and other stuff... basically anything that pops into my head. I'm rebuilding the site and it's in a bit of a beta stage, but I wanted to keep posting stuff to it, so forgive me for the unfinished look.
